Lecale Table Tennis League hold annual awards evening

THE Lecale Table Tennis League end of season awards and presentations were recently held at Owenbeg Bowling Club where league members and friends gathered to bring another successful season to a close.

An excellent buffet was supplied by Liam Byrne with music on the night from members of the Strangford club and their friends’ Trad group which ensured a party atmosphere during the evening.

The Lecale Table Tennis League committee would like to thank the clubs for supporting the function as well as Mary and Gerard Denvir from Owenbeg Bowling Club.

While the playing season has ended, a number of clubs will remain open during the summer.

Competition winners: Division 1 League, Banbridge; Division 2 League, Drumaness; Handicap Shield Division 1, Owenbeg; Handicap Shield Division 2, St John’s; Team of the Season, Strangford C.
