A SPECIAL charity “girls’ night” organised by staff at Downpatrick’s Ulster Bank branch last week has raised a total of £5,137 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Over 90 women attended for dinner at Dakota Bob’s and a cinema screening at Omniplex in Downpatrick last Tuesday evening.
The local Ulster Bank staff would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who attended and helped to raise a phenomenal amount of money for Macmillan, which provides vital support to those diagnosed with cancer.
Thanks are also extended to the staff at Dakota Bob’s and Omniplex in Downpatrick as well as The Cookie Jar for donating the cake and Bubble Up for providing decorations on the night.
Thanks also to those who donated to the raffle prizes, including Hastings Hotels, Burrendale Hotel, Hanlons, Ross’s Cycles, Bridge End Bikes, Finnebrogue Artisan, Headlines, The Works, The Daily Grind and Stacey Murtagh Coaching.
