Tennis club brings curtain down on successful year

27 November 2019

DOWNPATRICK Tennis Club recently held their annual awards evening in Denvir’s Coaching Inn.

Club captain Kenneth Carson hosted proceedings and spoke of another successful season of tennis. The club has recently welcomed several new beginners in both the senior and junior club and extends a welcome for next season to anyone who would like to take part.

Thanks to funding from Newry Mourne and Down District Council, play has continued through the autumn in the covered courts at Comber Leisure Centre.
