MARTIN Hyde hosted his Captain’s Day at Crossgar Golf Club in beautiful weather on Saturday.
As well as the golf, the 89 competitions enjoyed great hospitality from Martin and his special band of helpers, who he thanked during his prize giving speech.
He also thanked David and Leslie Watson and the volunteers for presenting the course in pristine condition.
Assisted by his wife, Isobel, and the Handicap Secretary, John Patterson, Martin’s prize giving ceremony ran without a hitch and he thanked all those who turned up to make the evening a special occasion.

At the conclusion of the prize giving, John Patterson, on behalf of the Club, thanked Martin for his excellent leadership as captain and for his hospitality and generosity on his Captain’s Day. He also wished him a successful continuation of his year in office.
