Racer Alexander prepares for new Superbike season

7 July 2021

DROMARA’S Alexander Rowan, who is competing in the Honda British Talent as part of the Bennett’s

British Superbikes this season, held a welcome event at Harry’s Country Store in Kinallen on Saturday.

On show at the event was the bike with it’s new livery, produced by local talent James Jess of J2 Graphics along with the team wear he also designs and produces.

Denis Biggerstaff and his wife Anne, kindly presented Alexander with a generous cheque to support his journey in competing on the mainland with 29 other budding racing enthusiasts from across the UK.

Thanks to Denis and Anne for hosting at their shop and for their kind sponsorship.

The support of local businesses is so vital in motorsports and is of course very much appreciated. Locals from the area, and indeed racing enthusiasts from further afield came to meet Alexander and wish him well for the season ahead.

Members of Dromara Motorcycle Racers Supporters Club also came along to give Alexander some encouragement and wish him well for his next race meeting at Knockhill this weekend.

Photos from the welcome event can be viewed on the Facebook page ‘Alexander Rowan Racing’.

If any local businesses would like to sponsor Alexander, please get in touch with Emma via the Facebook page.
