Presbyterian church announces its autumn outreach programme

A KILLYLEAGH church has announced details of its autumn outreach programme to the local community.

Killyleagh Presbyterian Church is staging its annual mission outreach, beginning next month.

One of the highlights will be the appearance on Saturday, September 28, at 7.30pm of former Radio Ulster presenter and Clubsound leader George Jones, and the Christian group Heart and Soul.

The free event is open to everyone and will take place in the Plantation Street meeting house in the town.

The evening will follow the same format as last year’s highly successful visit by Live Issue.

The following weekend, Sunday, October 6, the church will hold its annual harvest thanksgiving services in the Catherine Street meeting house at 11am and 7pm.

Before that the church will host an outreach at this Saturday’s Royal Black Co Down demonstration in Killyleagh.
