Charity event to be held in memory of Matthew Starkey

Ballynahinch Olympic Football Club, in collaboration with St Colman’s High and Sixth Form College, are set to host a 24-hour Football-a-thon in June as part of a major community charity event.

The continuous football challenge will bring together players, students, and volunteers in support of local fundraising efforts, with half of all money raised being donated to Marie Curie in memory of Matthew Starkey, a past teacher at St Colman’s.

Organisers say the event aims to celebrate community spirit while raising vital funds for a worthy cause.

Further details on how to get involved or donate will be available via the club or school social media.
