DARRAGH Cross showjumper, Conor Swail, has moved to the top of the individual standings of the lucrative Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) series.
His sixth place finish, aboard My Lady Lavista, in the Grand Prix in Monterrey, Mexico, was enough for him to overtake his closest competitor, American Kent Farrington.
This latest coup comes just over a week after the local man won a five-star, $63,000 speed final with his horse, Count Me In, at the Washington International Horse Show.
The win saw him finish the fastest of 21 competitors, in a time of 61.24 seconds, and put him in good stead ahead of his most recent performance, as he made his move to the summit of the MLSJ.
With seven legs of the series under his belt across Canada, the USA and Mexico, Swail now faces one more leg in Monterrey, this week.
The series rounds off with his penultimate outing and the Major League final taking place in La Quinta, California, next month.
If Swail keeps doing what he has done so far, he could be in with a real chance of sealing first place when the competition concludes.
