St Mary’s pupils honoured at final day ceremony

1 July 2020

THE P7 children at St Mary’s Primary School, Aughlisnafin, were ‘over the moon’ to see their friends again at a graduation ceremony organised by teachers, staff and friends of the school.

The children have missed so much and this celebration was to mark the end of their time at the school.

Mr Patrick Hardy, school principal, wished the children the “very best for the future”.

He said: “The class are a great group and they are welcome back to visit the school at any time. They have had it tough the last few months, but to see them at the graduation with smiles all round was special.

“The children will never forget their time at St Mary’s PS, Aughlisnafin, and we will never forget them.”

The graduating pupils were as follows: Clàra Gallagher, Katie Cope, Zara Blaney, Ruby Mullen, Jonny Warnock, Dillon Steele, Matthew Kenny, Caoimhe Stratton, Caolan Flanagan, Sean Og Maguire, Aine Coughlan, Rhys O’Hare, Shea Murray, Ayda Murray, Jay Flanagan, Eireann Cunningham, Katie O’Connor, Faithe Zych, David Brennan, Meabh Murray, Niamh Morgan and Fintan McGowan.
