Expert gives advice on photographing models

BALLYNAHINCH Camera and Digital Imaging Club welcomed Hugh Wilkinson from Catchlight Camera Club as their visiting speaker on Thursday. 

Hugh gave a very informative and entertaining demonstration of a studio model shoot. Club member Jim McClean volunteered to be the model in his own inimitable fashion and many excellent images were captured. 

Hugh also showed a selection of portrait prints which he has recently produced and all agreed that these were indeed of a very professional standard.

At next week’s meeting, club members Terry Hanna and Lawrence Perkins will give the second of their lightroom and photoshop workshops. Members are also reminded that images for round two of the NIPA competitions are due in on October 20.
