85th annual display and inspection

21 March 2018

THE First Crossgar Boys’ Brigade Company held its 85th annual inspection and display in Lissara Presbyterian Church Hall in the village last Friday night.

The special guest was Rowallane councillor Terry Andrews, a former member of the Company, with the evening’s proceedings opened by the Rev Ian Abraham.

Members of the Anchor Boys and Junior and Company sections each performed two items before they were presented with their badges, gifts and cups.

The boys put in a lot of hard work and effort during the session which started last September, with Mr Abraham thanking officers, leaders and helpers for their valuable contribution before closing the proceedings.

The Crossgar Company also wishes to thank the Rev Mark Spratt for playing the piano during the display.
